Western Nebraska’s Leader in Health & Performance

Our Philosophy

At the core of our practice is Arête. In Greek philosophy, Arête represents excellence, virtue, and fulfillment of one’s highest potential. It is not perfection, nor is it comparison. Arête is the ongoing pursuit of becoming the best version of oneself - physically, mentally, and ethically - through intentional effort and disciplined practice.

Arête also demands responsibility. We hold ourselves to high standards because our patients, athletes, and community entrust us with their health, their goals, and their future. Excellence is not a single outcome; it is a standard we uphold in every interaction, every decision, and every plan of care.

The Shelmadine Foundation

The non-profit arm of Shelmadine Health & Performance is dedicated to building healthier, stronger communities across Western Nebraska by expanding access to nutrition, healthcare resources, education, movement, and opportunity for children and families. By extending the mission of Shelmadine Health & Performance beyond the walls of the facility, the Foundation works to create lasting impact and empower individuals, families, and communities to thrive.
